The Incident Command Simulation Training Program for High Consequence Events (InCoSiT) Complex is a cutting-edge facility that can provide you and your team with the knowledge, skills, tools and state-of-the art technolgoy needed to test your plans and people using simulations that are as close to a real time crisis as possible. Also at InCoSiT, you can uncipher the unknown variables that could threaten recovery efforts and experience the real life rigors and stress a crisis brings to those responsible for disaster response and management.
 
InCoSiT is a program developed and housed by the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute (LEMIT). LEMIT is one of the many programs and institutes operating under the George J. Beto Criminal Justice Center located on the campus of Sam Houston State University. Read More

Our program is certified by Department of Homeland Security,Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education (TCLEOSE), the State Board of Education and Commissioner (SBEC). The training aims to enhance your knowledge of the concepts and applications of the Incident Command System (ICS) model adopted by NIMS and endorsed by the Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD5), which has become a national organizational standard in incident management.

  The standard program has been designed for, but is not limited to participants from:
- Law Enforcement
- Emergency Medical Services
- Fire Services
- Public Works
- Health Care
- Public Health
